Safety is the foundation of our approach. Our goal is to provide a work environment where risks are minimized and our staff can work safely and responsibly.
• Arbo-certified working method: All our processes are set up according to the strictest Arbo standards. This means that we work with clear protocols, controlled equipment and certified protective equipment.
• Employee Handbook: Each team member receives a handbook with comprehensive guidelines on safety, ergonomics and proper use of equipment.
• Protection from hazardous substances: Our personnel never work without the proper protective equipment, especially during tasks such as blasting, repairing and spraying. This prevents direct exposure to hazardous substances and ensures a safe working environment.
• Clean and healthy working: The workshop and blasting robot are equipped with advanced extraction systems and air diffusers. Harmful substances are extracted directly, while clean outside air is supplied. This means that our employees always work in a healthy environment.
• Advanced blasting robot: Our blasting robot ensures a safe working environment because employees no longer have to physically work on blasting. The cabin is safe to enter within minutes thanks to powerful filters and extraction systems.

Environmental friendliness in every aspect
Sustainability is not a side issue, but a core value within Muijs Containerreparatie. We work daily to minimize our impact on the environment and to use raw materials and energy more efficiently.
Waste management and recycling:
• Waste streams, such as blasting grit, metal residues and paint residues, are carefully separated.
• Blasting grit is filtered after use and reused up to 1000 times, preventing waste.
• We work with certified partners to process residual waste, so that waste is disposed of or recycled in a responsible manner.
Water-based paint: We are increasingly using environmentally friendly water-based paint. This reduces the emission of harmful substances and contributes to cleaner air quality.
Smart energy use:
• Our workshop is not heated with gas, but with the residual heat released during blasting. This significantly reduces our CO2 emissions.
• Within a few months we will switch to a battery storage system. These batteries ensure that we do not have to take extra power from the grid during peak loads.
• In the future, we will connect these batteries to solar panels so that we can generate our own sustainable energy.
• Well-insulated halls: Our halls are excellently insulated, making it pleasant to work inside in both summer and winter. At the same time, we save energy.
